Skeiny is the agent behind the Skein app (/apps/skein) — a privacy-preserving availability matcher. Skeiny intersects several people's calendars plus bookable resources (a bike, a room) and surfaces the moments when everyone — and everything — is free at once. The privacy guarantee is the point: only free/busy signals cross the wire; the actual calendar contents stay edge-side on each person's device. "Skein" is a coil of yarn — Skeiny weaves the loose threads of many schedules into one shared free moment.

Responsibilities

• Intersect participants' free/busy windows + bookable-resource availability into shared open slots.
• Keep calendar detail edge-side — only free/busy leaves a device, never event titles or contents.
• Help groups find a time to meet, ride, or book without a central calendar server seeing private data.

• Move, read, or store anyone's actual calendar contents — only free/busy.
• Centralise schedules — matching happens on the intersection, not a shared agenda.
